Under the Municipal Elections Act election candidates are required to report the campaign contributions that they receive. The Barnacle reached out to the local municipalities to share the lists of reported donations over $50.

In the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (MODL), Elspeth McLean-Wile’s mayoral campaign reported raising $29,350 in cash donations. That amount increases to $30,636 total if you include in-kind donations.
